What a horrible weekend to go camping this past weekend was!
It rained every day and hailed twice while we were there. It never got warmer
than 55⁰
and the sun barely shined. BUT through all this “hell” all I can keep thinking
is how much fun I had! I don’t know about you, but to me it was this crazy
awesome adventure that made me really love camping even more. Even though I did
threaten Dale I was going to leave in the middle of the night and go in to his parent’s
camper, I had a good ole’ time sleeping in my hammock.
A general rule I have for myself when I am camping is that you
cannot shower, well this trip I did shower, twice, and it was because it was a
great sense of warmth and it felt so good to stand in the steaming hot water,
even if it was only for 10 minutes.
This was the first trip we have ever bought Cabela on and she did
great! She hardly barked and she obeyed wonderfully. Dale took her to the dunes Saturday and
Sunday, so she was so tired. It was great for us because when she’s tired she’s
really likes to snuggle with usJ.

I love camping so much; I wish I could do it every day for the
rest of my life!
